(Definitions from the Handbook for Campus Safety and Security Reporting)
谋杀/ Non-Negligent杀人罪
The willful (non-negligent) killing of one human by another.
过失杀人罪
The killing of another person through gross negligence.
抢劫
The taking or attempting to take anything from value of the care, 监护权, or control of a person or persons by force or threat of force or violence and/or by putting the victim in fear.
加重攻击罪
An unlawful attack by one person upon another for the purpose of inflicting severe or aggravated bodily injury. This type of assault usually is accompanied by the 使用 of a weapon or by means likely to produce death or great bodily harm. It is not necessary that injury result from an aggravated assault when a gun, knife or other weapon is 使用d that could or probably would result in a serious potential injury if the crime were successfully completed.
强奸

被溺爱的人

乱伦
Sexual intercourse between persons who are related to each other within the degrees wherein marriage is prohibited by law.
法定强奸罪
Sexual intercourse with a person who is under the statutory age of consent.
纵火
任何故意或恶意焚烧或企图焚烧, 有意或无意欺诈的, 住宅, 公共建筑, 机动车辆或飞机, 他人的个人财产, 等.
入室盗窃
The unlawful entry of a structure to commit a felony or a theft. For reporting purposes this definition includes: unlawful entry with intent to commit a larceny or a felony; 打破 and entering with intent to commit a larceny; ho使用打破; safecracking; and all attempts to commit any of the aforementioned.
机动车辆盗窃
盗窃或企图盗窃机动车辆. Theft of any self-propelled vehicle that runs on land surface and not on rails, 如:运动型多功能车, 汽车, 卡车, 公共汽车, 摩托车, 汽车摩托车, 小径自行车, 轻便摩托车, 全地形车辆, 自行式机动房屋, 雪地摩托, 高尔夫球车和电动轮椅. (Classify as motor vehicle theft all cases where 汽车 are taken by persons not having lawful access, even though the vehicles are later abandoned — including joy riding.)
违反武器法
The violation of laws or ordinances dealing with weapon offenses, 规管性质, 例如:制造, 出售 or possession of deadly weapons; 携带 deadly weapons, concealed or openly; 家具 deadly weapons to minors; aliens possessing deadly weapons; all attempts to commit any of the aforementioned.
滥用药物罪行
Violations of state and local laws relating to the unlawful possession, 出售, 使用, 日益增长的, 制造业, 以及制造麻醉药品. The relevant substances include: opium or cocaine and their derivatives (morphine, 海洛因, codeine); marijuana; synthetic narcotics (Demerol, methadone); and dangerous non-narcotic drugs (barbiturates, 苯丙胺).
酒类违法行为
The violation of laws or ordinance prohibiting the manufacture, 出售, 运输, 家具, 拥有令人陶醉的酒, maintaining unlawful drinking places; bootlegging; operating a still; 家具 liquor to minor or intemperate person; using a vehicle for illegal transportation of liquor; drinking on a train or public conveyance; all attempts to commit any of the aforementioned. (Drunkenness and driving under the influence are not included in this definition.)
仇恨犯罪
A criminal offense committed against a person or property that is motivated, 全部地或部分地, 因为冒犯者的偏见. Hate-specific crimes may include any of the above defined crimes or also:

恐吓
To unlawfully place another person in reasonable fear of bodily harm through the 使用 of threatening words and/or other conduct, but without displaying a weapon or subjecting the victim to actual physical attack.
简单的攻击
An unlawful physical attack by one person upon another where neither the offender displays a weapon nor the victim suffers obvious severe or aggravated bodily injury involving apparent broken bones, 牙齿脱落, 可能的内伤, 严重撕裂伤或失去意识.
约会暴力
Violence committed by a person who is or has been a in a social relationship of a romantic or intimate nature with the victim.
家庭暴力
Felony or misdemeanor crimes of violence committed by a current or former spo使用 of the victim, 与受害者有一个共同孩子的人, a person who is cohabitating with or has cohabitated with the victim as a spo使用 or someone similarly situated to spo使用.
跟踪
Engaging in a course of conduct directed at a specific person that would ca使用 a reasonable person to fear for his or her safety or the safety of others OR suffer substantial emotional distress.
